I am very happy with this simple basic rucksack. I think all you need to make it practical and useful, e.g. for shopping, is a strong plastic liner, such as a large bin liner. I suggest, first load your goods into the "liner sack", then transfer the "liner sack" and contents into the Rucksack. The "liner sack" will protect both your goods and the Rucksack. I appreciate the wide shoulder straps and the simple sprung strap clips and D-ring anchor points. The strong water proof base is an advantage. Thank you.
