Ideally suited to charge "deep storage" Lead Acid (ie Car batteries) batteries
these Solar Panels can also be used to charge NiCad and NiMh rechargeable cells with the
addition of some form of charge limiting where the 3 sqft panels are used to charge small
NiCad or NiMh batteries.

One square foot 12"x 12" Glass sandwich ready framed for immediate use.
maximum output in bright sunlight is around 25v @ 275ma

Charge example:

Average 8 Hours sunlight per day
5 watts (approx 275mA) @ 13.8v for 8 Hours = 2.2Ahours
A Therefore a 36 Amp Hour leisure battery will fully charge in 16 days...
50% charge in just over 8 days etc

Ideal for use in Caravans etc where a continual top up charge is needed.
This panel type can be left connected all the time as it cannot overcharge
a standard car battery
