FACT ! sadly the manufacture of Smith's Military issue watches came to an end
in the early 1970's

in both design and function

Excellent condition Smiths British military wristwatch the Smiths watches
are becoming harder and harder to find.
They were issued to the British Military between 1967 and 1970 and are said
to be the best Smiths movement ever made and among one of the best
watches ever issued to the British Military.
Mint dial and markings, Stainless Steel case, Tritium luminous
dial and hand markings, screwed back with broad arrow,
Britiosh made manual winding mechanism, Gilded movement.
