The RadarMax X2
antenna has been designed by ourselves to meet the need for a High gain
replacement antenna
to suit RadarBox and SBS Virtual radar systems at a
reasonable price
There are several
types available on the market but none match the specifications of the
Radarmax antenna within the price range.
The NEW X2
version adds even more Gain as well
as improving the overall pattern of the Antenna

so good that we GUARANTEE an Improvement in operation
of
ANY Virtual Radar system.

system here at Nottingham in the Trent Valley showed

PL259 Connection
as standard... N Type or BNC connectors are available to special order
but we have found NO advantage in using these connectors over the Standard
PL259.
We have been unable to measure ANY loss whatsoever during bench or live testing.

The
AirMax Antenna has been designed by ourselves to
meet the need for an antenna for use with both VHF and UHF
Air Band receivers. AirMax is optimised for 128Mhz
and 310Mhz giving useful gain for Civil and Military
Air Bands.
Most Air Band
enthusiasts use a Discone type antenna
that gives a wide frequency coverage but with little or
no gain on the Air Band frequencies. In fact two Discone
type antennas at the higher end of the market actually
attenuate VHF airband by nearly 9db over a 1/4wave dipole.
Our Demonstration
here at Nottingham.. 1/2 mile from
Trent bridge shows a marked improvement in reception on
both VHF and UHF Airbands. We can now receive VHF
Tower signals from Heathrow, Birmingham and Manshester
airports as well as RAF UHF Transmissions from
RAF Coningsby in Lincolshire... ALL of which were
previously not heard with a Discone antenna !
We

the AirMax
antenna will outperform
ANY Discone type antenna on VHF and UHF Airband.
Airmax consists of a
VHF and UHF tuned Colinear array
within a Glass Fibre tube. Stainless steel fittings are
supplied with the antenna.
