FIBRE OPTIC CABLE
COMMERCIAL GRADE
We have just taken delivery of several drums of Commercial Grade Fibre Optic Cable.
We do not have any specifications but the pictures below will give someone the information they need.

10 Layer Construction
Overall diameter approx 17.5mm
Inner Fibre approx 1mm
TWO layers of KEVLAR separated by a plastic sheet covered by Foam and Polyprop Black Outer.
Inside the 2nd kevlar layer is a foam sheet layer
Then a Braid Layer followed by a thicker foam dielectric layer
The Inner Fibre is sheathed with a 2nd Braid layer

We do not have any further information regarding this cable
Some Peculiarities are:

Drums labelled TOW CABLE ?
Naval comms cable for Submersible Robotic / Sonar Equipment ?
One end is terminated in an N Type Plug ? (could be 75 ohm coax)
Other end terminated in a Brass "Plug"
